How a session works

A sit-down over real work. Not a product tour.

You keep hearing you should “use AI.” A session is us walking through what you actually do, then seeing where a tool helps — and where it doesn’t.

Before we sit down

You don’t need a brief, a stack of docs, or a cleaned-up process map. A typical week is the brief.

If you can name the repeats — inbox, quotes, notes, the same three questions from the team — that’s enough. In person when it makes sense, otherwise a call. Kitsap / nearby Washington.

What we actually do

We walk the work as it happens: a real inbox, a real spreadsheet, a real customer thread. I ask what’s slow, what’s already fine, and what’s noise from people selling you a tool.

Then we try the parts that look promising on your stuff — not a canned demo. If it doesn’t hold up, we say so and move on.

Tools, picked by need

Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot — we pick by the job, the data you can actually share, and what you already pay for. Sometimes the answer is “keep doing this by hand.”

Not locked to one vendor. A new subscription is not a success metric.

What you leave with

A short list of where a tool saves time, where it doesn’t, and what to try next week. Next steps you can do without me in the room.

No slide deck. No fake “AI strategy.” If we wrote prompts or a simple checklist together, you keep those.

When a small app follows

Sometimes a prompt isn’t the right shape. A small, specific app is — something that sits on the work you already do, not a platform rebuild.

That’s optional, and only when it would actually help. More on that kind of work: small apps in Kitsap.

When we stop at advice

Most sessions end here. You know what to try, what to ignore, and which tool (if any) is a fit. That’s the job.

A few questions

Do I need to prepare a lot before we sit down?
No. A rough sense of a typical week is enough — the messy parts, the repeats, the things people keep asking you to “just use AI” for. Screenshots or a shared screen help. A slide deck does not.
Is this a pitch for one AI product?
No. We pick Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot based on the work — or none of them, if they don’t fit. Not locked to one vendor.
What do I leave with?
A clear picture of where a tool helps what you already do, where it doesn’t, and practical next steps. Not slides. Not a stack of unused accounts.
Do we always build a small app?
No. Most sessions stay at advice. A small app follows only when it would actually help — not because building something looks busy.
